I can’t get to the trails yet, but judging by the amount of snow at our barn, I’ve decided to open the Mt Adams Trail Clearing Academy (MATCA) in April/May 2017. It’s free (heck, we’ll even make you dinner), it’s exhilarating (fresh air, herds of elk, and, maybe a motherload of morels), and it’s intoxicating (bulging biceps splashed with eau d’chainsaw gas). We do not discriminate on gender, nationality or sexual preference. In fact, no experience necessary–unless of course you have a chainsaw. If so, you’re automatically entered. Simply reply to apply. And those who don’t have time for the endorphin-filled rigors of trail clearing academia, no worries. You can come experience the finest trails in the West (and celebrate with our MATCA graduates) on May 20th at the Mt. Adams Endurance Ride!
